KKR, Temasek Consortium Invests $650 Million in Vinhomes

KKR, Temasek to buy 6% of Vinhomes

A consortium led by KKR & Co. Inc. (NYSE: KKR) invested $650 million in Vinhomes JSC (HOSE: VHM), the leading real estate developer in Vietnam. The consortium includes Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings. Today, the consortium completed the deal which translates to a 6% equity stake in the real estate developer, which is listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.


Vinhomes is a subsidiary of Vingroup (HOSE:VIC), Vietnam’s largest conglomerate. The company develops residential, commercial and industrial real estate. Additionally, Vinhomes aims to provide access to land banking and more growth opportunities.
