Cloud data management company Veeam recently acquired Kasten for $150 million in cash and equity. Kasten is the market leader for Kubernetes backup, disaster recovery, and application mobility.


Veeam integrated Kasten into its cloud data management platform. As a result, this has produced increased protection of Kubernetes workloads on-premises and across multi-cloud environments.

Cloud management and backup solutions have become more popular in equity markets because of their ease of use. Consequently, this caused the adoption of newer digital transformation technologies, such as DevOps.
