The UK to Pump US$ 235 Million into Green Tech

The United Kingdom's government is to pump more than  US$ 235 million into green technology. This decision comes at a time when venture capital investments in climate tech are at an all-time high. For instance, venture capital investments in the climate tech sector grew to US$ 480 million, across 39 deals, in 2020.

For instance, companies such as Carbon Clean Solutions Private Ltd raised US$ 22 million in a Series B funding round last July.
