According to the GlobalData analysis, some of the largest CMOs are keen on acquiring other corporations despite the hesitancy of general investors during the covid-19 pandemic.

CMOs are collateralized mortgage obligation. It is a type of mortgage-backed security that contains a pool of mortgages bundled together and sold as an investment.

During the 2020 economic crises caused by the pandemic, large CMOs acquired other service providers to increase the production of scale or add new capabilities.
