Renate Nyborg becomes Tinder's first ever female CEO, succeeding Jim Lanzone.

The online dating pioneer Match Group announced Renate Nyborg as Tinder’s new CEO. The appointment was made on September 10, 2021. Nyborg joined Tinder in 2020 as the general manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She will run a course in New York as the Chief Executive from September 27, 2021. Tinder’s former CEO Jim Lanzone moved to Yahoo to continue as their CEO.  

Who is Renate Nyborg?

Nyborg will be Tinder’s first female CEO since its inception. She has a proven stance in developing mobile and subscription businesses and branding. She joined the dating app company in 2020. Previously, she was the General Manager for Europe in the digital health company, Headspace. She served as Subscription Business Lead for Apple.
