Warburg Pincus LLC is pursuing to assemble a $16 billion fund for its latest flagship Global Private Equity fund. The Wall Street major is seeking investors to raise its biggest-ever fund. Potential investors already seem to commit to the new fund.

The new fund will outrun the previous funds, hopes the New-York based private equity firm. However, the fund is still in its initial stages. The PE giant will join other major private equity firms that have recently concluded their flagship fundraising.
