BioTech Andes Raises $15M To Fight Climate Change

Andes is an agriculture and biotechnology innovator that recently raised $15 million in a Series A funding round. Cavallo Ventures and Leaps by Bayer, the impact investment arm of Bayer AG, co-led this funding round. Existing investors which include, KdT Ventures and Endurance along with new investors Builders VC, Germin8, Accelr8, and Wilson Sonsini also participated. Using ‘Microprime’, it's novel seed treatment technology, this California-based company is reducing the need for synthetic fertilisers.
