ClearFlame Engine Technologies has raised $17 million in a Series A funding round. Breakthrough Energy Ventures led this round. Other investors to participate were Mercuria, John Deere, and Clean Energy Ventures. ClearFlame Engine Technologies is dedicated to the development of net-zero engine technology. Previously, they have received $4 million in non-dilutive and grant funding. Additionally, they had completed their Series Seed financing of $3 million led by Clean Energy Ventures in early 2020.
