British fund manager Schroders Plc (LON: SDR.L) agrees to acquire 75% of shares Greencoat Capital Holdings Limited. Greencoat Capital is Europe’s largest renewable infrastructure energy managers and the deal will allow to expand sustainable investment offering.
Schroders holds options which allow it to take control over the remaining shares of Greencoat at a future date.
The $473.17 million cash deal includes potential payout capped at $158.61 million payable in three years. This will also boost target revenues and the employment of Greencoat senior management team.
Schroders has over $941 billion in Assets Under Management (AuM).

The Company has increased its focus on private assets platform formation and sustainability position expansion.
