Samsung will setup new Investment in Tamil Nadu, India

Samsung will expand its investment in Tamil Nadu, India, by building a new compressor facility worth US$. 207,7 million in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai. The new compressor plant will spread over 22 acres and have an annual production capacity of 8 million units.

Most importantly, it will increase the capacity of the existing Samsung plant in the same area, which was already established in 2007. It also will expand and strengthen the component ecosystem in the state. Currently, Samsung has two manufacturing facilities in India, namely in Sriperumbudur and Noida, near New Delhi.
