International Banks Worries Continue as the Spanish Power Market Develops

Recently, the Spanish Government has locked horns with large electricity companies over the controversial decree, the government issued this in order to curb high electricity prices.

The international banks worries continue as the market analysts are focusing on the energy sector, specifically electricity market, given the rise in prices.

“The Spanish electricity market is the one we like the least,” said Barclays analysts in a report for investors. The digital newspaper Vozpópuli has access to the Barclays report.

On the tables of big investment firms landed reports that are part of their argument to decide on investments. “We see a clear opportunity to exit the Spanish market of utilities such as electricity,” analysts from Citi Research said.
