Avi Medical, a data-driven health-tech start-up situated in Munich, Germany, has raised close to $52.43 million in Series B funding.

A new generation of venture-backed start-ups is counting on a hybrid of online and in-person care. Avi Medical is the latest to get support for this hybrid model. The company just secured €50 million to link app-based telemedicine with many physical clinics.
Balderton Capital led the Series B investment. The round also included UiPath founder Daniel Dines, Berlin-based Heal Capital, and Paris-based Eurazeo, among others. The company has now raised over €80 million with this new round of funding.
