Spain Invests $5.1 Billion in Production of Electric Vehicles

Spain has announced its upcoming plan to invest a total of $5.1 billion to stimulate the production of more eco-friendly appliances, such as electric vehicles and batteries.

Investment Details

The investment plan will mostly be funded by the European Union recovery funds. It will consider all aspects of the production chain. This will include the manufacture of electric vehicles and the construction of a new battery plant. Not only will the battery plant be the first of its kind in Spain, but it will also contribute to the economy in terms of job production and future investments.
