Spanish Aerospace Private Equity Fund

The Spanish aerospace sector has suffered a sharp decline in activity. Being specific it has seen a fall in its production of 35% in short-distance and 45% in long-distance commercial aircrafts. Thus, the endorsement of the sector is mandatory in order to support the crisis. The Spanish State Society of Industrial Participations (Sepi), together with Airbus, Indra, and Tikehau Capital have created a Spanish Aerospace Private Equity Fund Endowed With $200 Million. Its objective is to invest in companies that play a key role in the aerospace supply chain but have been severely damaged due to the impact of the Covid-19 crisis.
