Saudi Arabia hosts Future Aviation Forum 2022

Saudi Arabia hosted the Future Aviation Forum in Riyadh on May 9 and 10. The event brought together the leaders to resolve the aftermath of COVID-19 crisis and to discuss the future of global aviation.Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Transport Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser opened the two-day event. More than 120 speakers and 2000 delegates attended the event from across the world.

Saudi Arabia aims to reach 330 million passengers, from more than 250 destinations, and 4.5 million tons of cargo by 2030.

In his comments, the Algerian economist, Dr. Ishak Kherchi, said: “The meeting aimed to implement a harmonious global air travel policy.”

“Saudi Arabia wants to make international air travel faster, simpler and more enjoyable by removing confusion related to travel,” he said.
