Wildfire Recovery Company DroneSeed Raises $36 Million

DroneSeed, a wildfire recovery company, has recently raised $36 million in a Series A funding round. They help their customers with advanced seed enablement and on-demand air support. 

This funding round was led by Social Capital LP and Seven Seven Six. New and existing investors, like DBL Partners, Tobias Lütke (CEO of Shopify), Resilience Reserve, Marc Benioff’s TIME Ventures, Massive, Drone. vc (David E. Weekly), Rob Ness, and Spero Ventures with Marc Tarpenning.

Additional investors and syndicates include Gaingels with Flight.vc, HBS Lady Angels, Julia Lipton’s Awesome People Ventures, and the Coalition angels, including Ashley Mayer.
