Jefferies Financial Group has announced its Q3 results. Their performance for this quarter was significantly impressive. The bank surpassed all expectations that analysts suggested.
Revenues up
Jefferies’ net revenues increased to $1.65 billion. A 19% increase to the prior year’s Q3 results. Pre-tax income rose to $560 million, a record for the quarter and 54% increase over the preceding year.
Net earnings also outperformed expectations and rose 57% over the prior-year quarter to $419 million.
But the Investment Banking segment was the one to be most admired. A 100% increase in revenue has been set by Jefferies, hitting $1.18 billion, another record.
Another record is on the quarterly advisory net revenues of $584 million.
