NerdWallet Files for IPO That Could Value Company at $5 Billion

Personal finance company NerdWallet publicly revealed its filing for a U.S. initial public offering on Friday, Oct. 8. However, the company did not disclose the offering terms or publicly release the filing.

IPO Details

According to reports from Reuters, NerdWallet could be seeking a valuation of up to $5 billion. Nerdwallet first filed for the IPO in May of this year. Morgan Stanley, BofA Securities, Barclays, Citigroup, and KeyBanc Capital Markets are a few underwriters for NerdWallet's offering. The firm plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol "NRDS." According to the reports, the timing of the IPO and the valuation are subject to market conditions.
