Tesco is Opening its First Checkout Store in London

Tesco has opened its first cashless shop in central London where customers can easily buy products without scanning items. Check-out stores have cameras mounted on the ceilings so that customers can get in. Furthermore, the customer takes their goods and leaves them at the cash register without paying.

British multinational grocery store partnership with Israeli technological company Trigo opened its first cashless store in central London. Holborn Express stores have been cashless since opening in 2018.

Moreover, a fully autonomous 225 square meter store called GetGo is located in High Holborn. The new layout, which is called GetGo, is just as follows similar stores opened by Amazon.
