Blockchain application development platform Moralis raised $13.4 million in its latest seed funding round. Additionally, this seed funding round was primarily led by EQT Ventures. EQT Ventures is the venture capital arm of Sweden-based private markets firm EQT AB.
Moralis will use the funding from EQT to hire new members for its continued product development. Initially, Moralis aims to accelerate the development of seamless development decentralized applications (dApps) and Etherium blockchain (Web3) projects. The funding from EQT Ventures will also allow it to scale its infrastructure. This is especially important since this infrastructure is critical to future dApp development.
