Global private equity fund Advent International raised $4 billion for its Advent Global Technology II Fund (“Advent Tech II”). It also beat its $3 billion targets and reached a $4 billion hard cap in six months of fundraising.
This new fund comes two years after raising the first tech-focused fund, Advent Tech, in 2019. The first fund has already invested in over 20 companies since its inception in 2019. This includes investments in sectors such as software, data, and cybersecurity. Moreover, Advent Tech II is double the size of its predecessor.
