National Employment Savings Trust (NEST), London, hired Schroders Capital to invest directly in private equity. Moreover, Nest will add the private equity investments into its existing default ‘Retirement Date’ funds.
Schroders Capital team has also created a bespoke fund for Nest pensions. Furthermore, this deal marks the first time a UK defined contribution scheme is investing directly in private equity.
