Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) platform Cube, based in New York City, raised $30 million in Series B funding.
Fund Deployment
Battery Ventures was the lead investor in the round, which brought the total amount raised to date to $45 million. Mayfield Fund, Bonfire Ventures, Operator Collective, and new strategic investor GTMfund also participated. Michael Brown, General Partner of Battery Ventures, will join the Cube Board of Directors.
The company hopes to use the capital to invest in hiring and driving go-to-market strategies. It also plans to hasten the development of its platform that is native to spreadsheets.
