Macy's reviews the current business structure with the help of AlixPartners. This comes a month after activist investor Jana Partners urged the sale of Macy's e-commerce business. Furthermore, Jana Partners, which owns 4.6 million shares, or about a 1.5% stake in the company, said that Macy's could double its share price if it separated its e-commerce business. This advice comes as customers buy more online.
