Thoma Bravo Set To Acquire Bottomline In A $2.6 Billion All-Cash Deal

Thomas Bravo, a software investment firm has agreed to buy payments provider Bottomline (NASDAQ: EPAY) for $2.6 billion. With this all cash deal, Bottomline will also become a privately held company. 

Moreover, as per the agreement, Bottomline shareholders will receive $57 per share in cash. This cash price also represents a premium of 42% to Bottomline’s closing stock price on 19 October 2021. Furthermore, this price is 16.5% higher than Bottomline's previous close.
