A consortium led by buyout firm KKR (KKR.N) will take over Accel Group (ACCG.AS) for $1.77 Billion. The deal is a sign of raising investors' interest in the e-bike industry.

According to the announcement, the cash offer of $61 per share in cash represents a 26% premium over Accell's closing price. In addition, a 42% premium over its three-month volume-weighted average price.
