Chipmaker Broadcom is planning to acquire cloud company VMware which, could become one of the largest tech acquisitions in the history. Broadcom representative didn't respond about the deal. Discussion between Broadcom and VMware are going on and the deal is yet to be finalized.
If the deal evolves, Broadcom aims at broadening its roots beyond hardware hitting the major IT goals. Thus, This acquisition would enrich the Broadcom’s spot in cloud ecosystem where VMware is engaged.
