Roe vs Wade Reversal May Impact Telemedicine in US

Roe v. Wade was reversed last week by the U.S. Supreme Court and it was a 5-4 decision. In response, people, both anti and pro-abortion, protested.

Chief Justice John Roberts did not partake in the vote. Also, three justices disagreed with the decision. They were Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan.

“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled. The Constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote.

Currently, individual states have a say on this issue. At the present time, 26 states are looking to ban abortion. Abortion pills start-ups are impacted by the Supreme Court’s ruling in Roe v.Wade.
