Partners Group, a global private markets firm, has acquired a majority equity stake in Budderfly, a Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) provider. Partners Group purchased this stake on behalf of its existing clients. Furthermore, the Group has committed Budderfly further growth capital totaling more than $500 million.
However, with this investment from Partners Group, existing investor Edison Partners will exit their investment in the company. Edison first invested in the Budderfly Group in June 2017.
