Take-two interactive software Inc., a Video game maker agreed to buy mobile game maker Zynga for $11.04 billion in cash-and-stock deal. Adding the popular mobile game Farmville under its hat as the demand for the gaming surges.
This is the largest ever deal in the gaming sector, creating a gaming boom with a market cap of $30 billion.
Transaction Overview
Under this deal, Zynga shareholders will receive $9.86 for each share, including $3.50 in cash and $6.36 in take-two stock. Enterprise value of the deal stood at $12.7 billion with respective to shares, cash and debt. It has paid 64% premium to the last closing price of Zynga’s share.
