CFS Raises $1.8 Billion for Energy Fusion Machine

CFS or Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC raised US$ 1.8 billion in a recent Series B funding round. The funds raised would be utilized to commercialize fusion energy. Therefore, the capital raised in this funding round would go into the construction, commission, and operation of SPARC. Consequently, SPARC, which is yet under development, would be the world's first commercially relevant net energy fusion machine.
